Jelly Fishing in Austin

Have I mentioned how much I love Austin graffiti yet?  I fall out my front door and am standing in front of Buddha, a dragon, and jelly fish.  Beat that.... everyone!  Ok, don't really.

I feel the need to post a "pretty" picture after the poblano pepper hat incident, (I don't want to talk about it).

Dress: Ciceco
Blazer: Gap
Shades: Target
Mary Janes: Dillards
Necklace: made by my 11th grade boyfriend, Chris, who was a jewelry apprentice at David Adam's!  He gave it to me instead of a corsage for homecoming.  Awww!

And since its 2:00AM, I told myself I'd go to bed two hours ago, and everyone on Twitter got SO EXCITED about the new Vampire Weekend album that I still haven't heard, here's an ode to the best song about a piece of grammar ever:

And I have no idea who these guys are, but they popped up on youtube and I dig the video/song!  But maybe not the "spit at stars" part...

OMG GOODNIGHT

Love your dress. So cool that you have fun graffiti right outside your door -- I am pretty jealous!

The color of your blazer looks so good on you, girly.
The new Vampire Weekend album is great, hope you get to hear it soon!

Love that wall! Also - the "typewriter museum" on the east side, Museo de Machina Escriber, I think it's called, has some pretty sweet wall artwork, too. :)

@Mikhaila - thank you! I just checked out yours - gorgeous photos

@Kayla Lane - it's off Guadalupe on one of the 40 roads, behind a two story red brick office building with a parking garage underneath it. I'm terrible with directions...

@Lauren - thank you!!

@Sidewalk Chalk - you always have such a beautiful waterscape behind you in your photos - I'm jealous!

@Sam - thank you! I wish I could paint like that, I once tried flowers on my wall but they were more like splatters

@Chelsea - ok, I just might have to go download it then. Especially because I loved the last album and it drives my boyfriend crazy :)

@Tolly - by Rio Rita? Ok, I'm SO THERE, especially if there's a bloody mary involved
